The always benevolent Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) is unloading one of the stylish outfits in her Capitol-friendly closet to support sufferers of Typhoon Haiyanin the Philippines.
The same draped, architectural long-sleeved top and skirt worn by the Victor in a Capitol-set scene in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is now up for grabs on Fashion for the Philippines, an online auction sponsored by Fashion Girls for Humanity and the CFDA.
Otherwise known as “Look 16” from designer VPL‘s (yes, that stands for Visible Panty Lines) Fall runway show, the utilitarian-chic outfit is valued at $2,300 but currently has only one bid at $350 (if I could do any sort of math, I would’ve included the percentage off that is, but alas numbers are so not my strong suit).
The auction began on December 10 and will close on January 14, 2014 at 2:38pm (not 2:30 or 2:40, but 2:38!). So that means you have exactly 27 days left to get your Panem-loving hands on it.
Bid on the VPL-donated Catching Fire look here. And don’t forget to check out what else is up for sale on the Fashion for the Philippines site.
