Full disclosure (pun intended … see: episode title): I must be just as blind as Karen (Yunjin Kim) when it comes to admiration.
It didn’t occur to me that her business partner Jacob (Matthew Del Negro) had the hots for her until her fiery lawyer insisted it was true on Monday’s Mistresses (Season 1, Episode 11, “Full Disclosure“).
Wouldn’t it have been much more convenient for all of us if she would’ve washed away her dead-lover grief with Jakey instead of with her dead lover’s backstabbing son? The look on Jacob’s face when Karen spewed out her confession during the deposition was just so sweet. And naive. A perfect combination in a man, right?
I hope this workplace romance storyline finds its way onto another Mistresses script soon — if only to give Joss (Jes Macallan) and her boss-turned-bed-partner some needed competition.
